| Bulgarian Mak
My fairly new Bulgarian Mak (one o fmy favs), has a few very small spots of metal showing through the bluing (looks like someone at the factory picked it up before the bluing was set.) Being a bit obsessive about these things, I'd like to touch it up. Anyone know the best way to do this without screwing up the rest of the bluing?

Mine has normal wear markings...just the way I like the ol' girl to look. You minght want to look at trying Brownell's Oxpho Blue cream. It's one of the better cold bluings out there in my humble opinion. But, considering the quanity it comes in it might be a bit much more than you'll ever use. Birchwood Casey comes in smaller bottles and I'm not familiar with the quality of other liquid or paste cold blues. www.brownells.com

Thanks all. I tend to be a bit too picky about things like this. I suppose If I just give it time, it'll blend into the normal wear that will result from use.

I have tried to keep favorite firearms in pristine condition. The only way, is to put it in a sealed case, evacuate the air, fill it with an inert gas like argon and "look" at it on the wall I cant do that. so I do my best to keep it looking as good as I can and carry It with confidence. Ya cant keep the paint on a car perfect forever.
