| Gonna shoot trash in the desert near Edwards AFB watch out, im finally going to shoot my p22 in the desert at some computer screens and PC towers and through a thick stack of FHM magazines that are abandoned out there. I cant wait, i bought 400 rounds of CCI mini mags from walmat a weekago and then cleaned and oiled my p22 throughly...not a spot of gun poweder buildup in, near or around the bullet chamber/barrel. Anyone have any good recommendations of what to take with me that'll be fun to shoot...i was thinking of watermelon or apples or glass coke bottles. :target: |

| If you can find them pick up some Aguila Super Maximun 22LR's. Check out AimSurplus they carry them. These shoot near 22mag velocitys, but are a little on the dirty side due to being loaded so hot. I like to mix a couple in a mag with factory Federals...hand then hand it to your buddy. When he fires off one of these, the look on his face will be priceless "MAN that was a HOT one!: Last edited by myarmor; 10-21-2005 at 06:32 PM. |

| You'll notice more recoil, but in a pistol like a P22 man they will ring your head. These are awesome for varmints. But back to your topic..Ever seen OfficeSpace? Yeah it feels good to be a gangster-take out the copy machine! |

| Shooting paper at a range doesn't involve trashing the desert or the wilderness. I know, you said someone else left the trash but, in my mind, anyone shooting at the already left trash or throwing it in a pond and creating a bigger mess might be in just about the same league as the trashers. Ten to one says not a piece of the trash you shot was taken out with you? Some might argue differently but seeing the trash left behind by others and walking away as one thing. But to sit there and blow printers, screens, paint cans...whatever might already be there...into smaller pieces that appear to be more trash is just irresponsible. It's those irresponsible shooters that will be the downfall of open range/territory shooting. The vast majority of shooters do not take out needless stuff and reduce it to a pile of eyesore. But, even here in Arizona, it is the shooter...not the dumper...that gets accused of leaving the trash. MHO.
