Many moons ago I knew a guy in Houston that was working on converting M1 carbines to .357, but he never could get all the bugs worked out. A few years later I heard he had died, and his gun hatin' wife took ALL his guns to the police to have them destroyed. IMI used to offer the Timberwolf. A pump action carbine in .357/.38, that I believe has since been discontinued. Now-a-days, about the only offerings are in lever actions from Marlin, and I think Winchester.
