I'm no longer Sigless! (56k warning)

I just picked this up this Sig 239 yesterday upon hearing thet my CCW application was approved pending my test. The trigger is the best I've ever owned, in single action it breaks at 4 lbs and is as smooth as glass. (I was playing around with the different modes on my camera so If the pics look funny thats why)

. Really nice gun. I've wanted a Sig 226 for a long time now. A dealer who always comes to gun shows in KY has police trade in Sig 226's for under $400. They have some wear on the outside, but everything else looks really nice.

My wife's carry is a Sig 239.

She loves it and she can shoot it and that makes her even more confident.

In fact she had my put a Hogue wrap-around grip on it and the finger grooves seem to fit her hand perfectly.

The ONLY downside I see to the Sig is their take down is somewhat different than what one might expect and I have to set for a second to think of how to get it done before I break it down.

In short you have to lock the slide to the rear and then the receiver release will flip downward.

Plus the slide lock is the last button at the rear and the decock is forward of that when most would expect them to be the other way around.

However....it is a great little gun.
