Today's duck hunt

Hunted the walk in. temp on arrival was 9F. we broke some ice to get in and had to keep breaking it from the decoy spread. My brother and I ended up with 4 wood ducks.

Looks like a premo spot, do you hunt there much? Be a bit cold though with the water over the jewels

We hunt there quite a bit Wirehunt. The grounds are broken up into 3 distinct areas. This was the walk in. There is a big open wwater lake and a smaller lake that gets drained, planted and flooded again.

The jewles were not too bad untill I hunkered down when some mallards were working, I ended up with about a quart of water down the front of the waders. Woke me right up!
