Nope I guess I'm just a sucker for an original. Except for my Kimber but I don't have the money for an original 1911.

Arrow

it's either a Walther PP in .32 ACP (long term investment) or the Argentine Hi Power

Shooting the Argentine High Powers – Cruffler.com – February 2001 (Full article enclosed)

“High Powers are generally fun guns to shoot. They’re comfortable, accurate, and have a tendency to make the shooter look good. Given that we can use all the help looking good that we can get, we were excited about shooting the Argentine guns.”

“Accuracy with the M95 was quite good, with our best group of the day measuring approximately 1.2”. … we were quite impressed with the gun.”

“Ergonomically, the pistols are as comfortable as any Browning High Power we’ve ever held.”

“No failures were noted with any of the guns.”

“With the price of FN High Powers running in excess of $600.00 these days, the Argentine Brownings represent an exceptional value ………”

“Suggested Retail Prices : M95 Classic : $410

NOTE: Detective : $400

"This is from a 2001 Article, M95 Deluxe : $510” Retail should be higher now."

THE UNOFFICIAL BROWNING HI POWER PAGE - Argentinean FM Hi-Power – April 21, 2002

“I just acquired an FM Hi-Power, and I really think it’s amazing.”

“It shoots very well, ………. and is absolutely reliable.”
