I have an older Redfield 2.75X on my Marlin .44 and consider it a fine scope, but my gun doesn't ride in a truck, so I don't know how the (USA made)Redfield would handle the jarring. It handles recoil quite well; I have the same scope on my harder-kicking Marlin .45-70 and have never had a problem.
