Question Thinking about this bolt action "Cooley"?

Need a nice tube fed bolt action that I can shoot sub-sonics through for pests...thinking about this one. Never heard of a "Cooley"...anyone?

they were made in Canada, and Cooley was bought by Winchester, than Cooley faded away, heard that they are nice guns though.

I HAVE TWO AND THEY ARE WELL DONE. THEY WERE THE STANDARD 22 FOR CANADA. I DON'T THINK YOU WOULD BE SORRY WITH ONE.

The auction is over and he never answered my questions about it. He's been trying to sell it a while now. If he won't answer peoples questions, I can see why he ain't sold it yet! When he re-lists it I'll try again....UNLESS DANA WANTS TO SELL ME ONE OF HIS!

Cooey Model 600 Canadian Winchester - .22S,L,LR - Excellent condition. - 99% original blue; excellent markings & bore; a bit odd design but I think it’s working as intended; minor handling marks only to wood. Marked "Cooey - Model 600 - … Mfg. by Winchester / Cobourg, Ont. Canada". - Cooey was a Canadian firearms manufacturer founded in 1919. After WWII, they relocated to Cobourg, Ontario, where they were acquired by Winchester in 1961. This bolt action tube-mag .22 preceded the Mod. 60, and is a bit scarce in the U.S. - nsn - FFL - item #TB-C600 - $225

Actually its a good price compared to this.

Oh, by the way, I e-mailed the people selling that first Cooey on gunbroker and told them if they ever get tired of trying to sell it for $145, that I'd give them $125 + the $15 shipping. I called the place with the 2nd one in excellent condition and it was gone!

Jumping In on Cooey-Winchester Rifles

Guys--just came across your thread. I have an old, single shot, bolt action, .22 short, long or LR, marked "Trail Blazer." Real simple, with no other markings. Does this sound like one of the Cooey's as well? not tube, as the previous discussion stated. Trying to find its origins, age, value, etc. Great shape, with what looks like new stock, unfortunately! Thanks
