Does anyone have any tips for making them function better? The trigger pull is not smooth & too heavy. Also dont like the way the scope is mounted. it doesnt seem to be verry solid to me.
I fixed all the side to side & up & down slop by epoxying in some shims. & added some light grease to the moving parts of the trigger (but its still too stiff)
Some folks end up making their own trigger linkage...from scratch...
There's gotta be a better way than how they've got it done...takes a lousy 1022 trigger and makes it worse!! LOL

As for the scope mount and scope. Please send pics. I bought factory rail that mounts on top of the receiver. The rifle on the bottom is my 10/22. it has a Tasco 3x9x40 mounted on it. That little scope is pretty accurate. But I don't understand what you mean by it flops around. I do not have that problem with the scope on my 10/22. This is combination Weaver scope base.
Boy do I sheepish . I thougt ya'lls were talkin about the OEM stock
See, that's whatcha get for not memorizing the Marlin 60/795 accessories pages in the Marlin section
Where a writeup of the muzzlelite stocks exists...with more links
