Iver Johnson .22

I am new to G&G and I recently purchased an Iver Johnson US Carbine .22LR. I paid $150 for the little rifle. I am wondering what the rifle is worth and if i got a good deal.

Thumbs up

That is a good price. These days at our gunshows, if we can find one, it goes for $300 and up! I had bought one several years back for $155, but it was stolen.
Good gun, reasonably accurate, reliable though the recoil spring can get soft. If you have a problem, PM me and I'll tell ya the trick to fix it!
Magazines are available, but expensive! I saw a vendor in The Shotgun News that had them - about $60 IIRC.
Scoping is easy, but you may need tall rings - the shells eject upwards and will bounce of the scope! They can go left or right, and sometimes down into the action. Raising it seems to help.

I like these little guns - the feel of the GI carbine but much cheaper to feed!
