Last year I bought a simple and plain .22 Henry lever action. Since then I've learned more about their pro's and con's. Mine was bought strictly for plinking with plenty of affordable ammo. It has been all of that and more. I've never had a problem with rounds jamming, etc. and that's about as much as I could ask.

But...since then, I've learned that certain parts of the receiver are not metal, a few other parts as well, so that disappoints me just a little. However, the gun does an excellent job of doing what I bought it for so I have no serious complaints.

Maybe someday I'll replace a few of the plastic parts with something "pretty." But...I'm a strong believer in "function over form."

Billy, I believe they do but I'm not sure, I'll take a look at my '07 catalog and see what they offer.
Update: I didn't find one in the catalog but Marbles makes one, here's the link: Marbles Quality Knives

Not surprised that Mr. Imperato replaced it at no charge. He takes a personal interest in his products and quite often you'll see where he responds to forum posts. I bought a 22LR Goldenboy several years ago. It has, without a doubt, the smoothest action of any lever gun I've ever fired, regardless of make or cost. Sweet shooting rifle. You'll be happy with it.

Got a question for you long-term yellowboy owners.

How does that gold plating stand up to knicks and general use.

I would probably go for the blued version beause it probably wouldn't show wear as much.

Must admit tho....that Yellowboy is pretty.

Stands up pretty well...still haven't put the replacement receiver cover on it yet...too busy playing with the Armscorp M21/Colt HBAR AR/and the High Standard VICTOR I got a little bit ago.

The itch to play with the Golden Boy is building again...toooo much fun!
