| Which .22 Autos Stay Open After Last Shot?
I know the Thompson Center does, are there others? Thanks! This forum seems to have nice people posting! (This pertains to rifles!) Last edited by AutoHound; 06-30-2007 at 08:06 PM. |

I think the Marlin Model 60 does (great little rifle for the money!). The Ruger 10/22 defiantly does not stay open- I think someone came up with an after market gizmo to make it stay open - not sure.

Marlin 60 does, and I believe Silverrun is correct. Someone makes a last shot hold-open for the 10/22.`

I had a 10/22 with an automatic bolt hold open after the last shot. The gun was a Varmint Special from South Yorkshire Shooting Supplies, UK. The magazine had been modified and was engraved "CST". I think the Volquartsen TG2000 trigger assembly and possibly Jard triggers have this feature. Last edited by pisces; 07-13-2007 at 04:21 AM. |

22lr hunter, the Marlin 60 is a tube, I know that for a fact, and I believe that the 70 is the clip fed version of the popular 60. Sorry--------

Marlin 70 is clip fed and does not stay open after the last shot, however the bolt can be locked open by pushing in on the operating handle.
