what kind of amunition should you sight a 22WRM rifle in with

i was wondering what kind of amunition a person should use when sighting a 22WRM. should you use expensive loads or cheeper loads. should you use super high velocity rounds like this that shoots 30 Grain Jacketed Hollow Point bullet at 2200fps or should

you use a slower velocity shell like the same ammuntion but a 40 Grain Jacketed Hollow Point at 1910fps
or should you use the amunition that you will be using the most. cause i plan on using many different kinds of amunition for different scenarios

does the velocity of the shell afect the accuracy or range of the bullet

Normally ,you sight in with the ammo you are going to use the most of. I would use the 40 gr. Heavier bullets to sight in and see where the lighter bullets pattern compared to the heavier bullets on the target. This is best way to tell ..

My personal opinion would be to sight it with the ammo that you will be using most. Then shoot enough of the other rounds to know where they pattern and adjust your aim accordingly when using them.

The heavier bullets generally have more 'knockdown energy', or what a buddy elsewhere calls more "Whompability Factor".

As said, sight in with what you will use, and what the gun likes. I stick with CCI MaxiMags, and find no difference ballistically between the solid and the HP.

Use what your gonna shoot, buy you a laser bore site it will pay for itself in long run, you don't have to allot, site it then shoot your ammo.
