Winchester mod 52

Anyone out there shoot the 52's? I think they are the best 22's ever made. I have a 1923 that I think is all orig. and a 1950 mod52b thats a piece part gun and 2 of the reissue mod b's from the 1990's. They are all fun to shoot and shoot better than I do. I found a thread on the internet that said someone here was looking for a 52 stock. I know where to find some so contact me if you want one I only know of a couple. And where to find some metal parts too. Big boomer

I shot a Win 52 in college back in the 1970's. A great gun. I used it for prone and sitting and switched off with a lighter Win 75 for kneeling (yeck!) and offhand.

I laugh to think I shot expert with a rifle in those days. I'm lucky to get minute-of-watermelon now.

amen I have increased my group size by a foot too. Really tho the gun shoots better than I do. I shot back in the 70's and shot better offhand than prone, talk about being backwards. It was neat to meet two of the womens state champs back then( one from one year the other from the year before) one gal told me her dad gave her the target rifle and made her practice trigger and breath control for a year before letting her shoot the gun(must have been boring)
