| Senior Member | Whats your favorite .22 rimfire ammo? I have been shooting CCI Mini- Mag ammo since the late 60's and still shoot it today in my Squirrel rifles.Perhaps I have been lucky, but I have never owned a .22 rimfire that didn't shoot it well.Anybody else got any favorites? |

| Senior Member ![]() | I've had good results with Fed.Am Eagle 38gr Hp. 4000 to the case. Last ones I bought were $0.86 per box, I bought two cases so it's been a while. In three of my .22 rifles they shoot within 0.1" @ 50yds as they shoot with Eley 10X. 10 shot groups with the Am Eagle's average .485, .510, .550 with these three rifles. My .22 handguns love them also. Misfires are maybe 1 per brick, Rem golden bullets are 7-8 per box, same with CCI's & PMC's. With one 100 pack of Rem target I had 22 misfires out of one box.

| Moderator ![]() | CCI Standard - works as well for me as the more expensive Greentag. Same thing really - Greentag just tests more consistently. For more general shooting, CCI Minimag. Hmmm . . . I begin to see a pattern here. I recently tried CCI Blaser, but wasn't impressed. BUT - I too just acquired a TOZ-78, so I might try it again.
