I have a single six converter old model Ruger in the 6.5" tube. One fun gun to shoot and still have some of my $3.45 boxes of .22 mag super X, reminds me that I need to get it out and leave the newer ones alone for a while,
Hope to find a rifle some day to match up with my six shooter.

There are only two animals I won't shoot at with my Marlin 25MN. Bear & Hog. Everything else dies. Deer are do-able with headshots ONLY...body shots make 'em run too far even with a heart/lung shot. Headshots give you either an instant drop or a complete miss.

Oh, and the Grendel P-30, P-31, and R-31 are the only semi-auto pistols worth monkeying around with that I've found so far, on the other hand the Automag II bites. Keep a Grendel super-clean & well-oiled like an M-16/AR-15 and you should have few problems.
