| Feeding problem I have a new plinkster and am having problem feeding, about every 7 or 8 round the bolt will pick up a round and the round will get crooked in the magazzine and cause a jamb. Any insight?? Last edited by rick343; 01-24-2008 at 06:08 PM. |

| One suggestion up front Thoroughly disassemble the gun to the greatest degree possible and clean with a high quality solvent. Many people overlook this option but often it solves a problem as packing/shiiping grease, old oil, etc. can build up and cause problems. After a thorough cleaning lubricate with a light gun oil. |

| After a good cleaning and proper lubing as suggested, if the problem persists, try different ammo. If this is the semi-auto Mossberg Plinkster, it may not like certain types of ammo. Semis often prefer plated round-nose bullets, and can hang up with lead or flatter-nosed loads. I prescribe a box of CCI Minimags. Take it to the range, then call us the morning after . . .
