How many HANDGUNS have you run across with the brand name ITHACA on them? Founded in 1883 in Ithaca, NY until it was purchased and moved in 1987 to King Ferry, NY where it operated until 1996, dba ITHACA GUNS USA LLC of Upper Sandusky, Ohio.

The Government Model 1911A1 .45acp was the FIRST handgun to wear the Ithaca brand, nearly 70 years AFTER the company began. But their FIRST and ONLY commercially offered handgun is the one described below.

ITHACA GUNS X-CALIBER, 300 units produced 1988 only. This gun is SN 00000101 found complete with original box, warranty, Owner's Manual, even the original oil paper the gun was wrapped in at the factory.

Will be happy to hang on to this one even though I'm busy auctioning off over 100 guns from my collection.

No, on either gun. They just came that way. On the rifle, the LED shines back. On the Pistol. the LED shines forward.

Thumbs up yeppers, 22's rock

I love a good lil' 22. Nothing better for a day of plinking cans or targets at 100-150 yards out.
I have a Savage stevens model 887 & a Savage nodel 6A with a bsa 3x9 scope, sighted in at 150 yards.

I'm just proud I can finally say I've got a dog in this hunt. For 40 years, I never had a gun I had picked out, bought and paid for in my house. I'd had a Mosin 1905 I was given by a friend. I loaned it to another friend. He died. His wife sold my Mosin to her nephew for $100 - and refused to tell me how to contact him. Then, my wife had me buy her a Mossberg pump 12-gauge. It wasn't until I retired that I was able to stop, look and buy my own gun that I wanted. And the first was my baby - a Mohawk Brown Nylon 66. Codes show it as January 1965 manufacture - the year I graduated High School.

My starter:

And my two additions: A pair of Stevens Model 87As from neighboring pawn shops, bought for about the same price on the same run in my car.
