552 remington

Hello everybody,I'm thinking about buying a 552 speedmaster. I like tube fed semi autos.Would like to know how accurate they are,and how reliable with diffrent loads. thanks

I had one and other than jam problems with anything I shot through it I found it to be accurate and fun to shoot. I think mine was just a lemon. It had a rough spot on the bolt that made it a pain. Plus, it shot WAY high. I adjusted as much as I could and still would have to hold half a blade low to hit anything.

Mine has a function problem too - it seems the firing pin is remaining to far forward, impeding the cartridge trying to come up the front of the bolt when cycling forward.
Probably needs a good cleaning - haven't stripped it down yet - just bought it recently.
Prior owner buggered up the sights, which I've replaced - need to get it back to the range to test accuracy.
