Can't help you except to offer maybe looking at the schematics and seeing if there is anything it may show that could/can help you?

Here look at the different models they have schematics for and see if you spot it? I'm sure someone else will reply and offer assistance...

This is the SEARS/JC Higgins model 30 thru 34 - there are minor differences between models.
To strip for cleaning,
1) Unload the magazine and the Chamber!
2) Remove inner mag tube.
3) Cycle bolt and cock hammer.
4) Set safety to 'SAFE'.
5) Remove cross screw located at rear of wood side panels.
6 Pull rear of trigger group downward, move the unit rearward and downwards.
7) Invert gun and retract bolt all the way back, lift front of bolt away from top of receiver, slide cocking handle forward then remove from ejection port.
8) Continue tipping front of bolt til it clears the receiver, then remove.

This is as far as you need to go for cleaning.

Reassembly is the reverse of this procedure.
