Green Mountain barrels for ruger 10/22
are these gm barrels any good? ive seen them at cabelas and there only like 110 bucks not bad at all i think for a cheap upgread along with a bolt buffer and a trigerjob what do u all think of these barrels? i just started shooting my 10/22 had if for about 3 years after my dad gave it to me and it seems like my marlin mod 60 has small groups at 75 yards then it does.

I went with a $95 green mountain 20'' blued bull barrel on my 10/22, haven't shot it yet but I've heard they are the best deal for the money, and I know Knight uses green mountain barrels on their muzzleloaders, so they must be good.

The 10/22 can be picky about what brand of ammo you use. Try several brands, you may find one that shoots quit well with your stock barrel. The same applies to any aftermarket barrel. A aftermarket barrel and a good action job can make your 10/22 a tack driver.
