If price is the issue consider a Savage Mark II V barrel. Not meaning any disrespect to Billy, the CZ, and his shooting (which are all excellent), but the Savage shoots very straight as well.

For scoped shooting, I much prefer the high comb of the CZ 452 American. I have two of them. One for silhouette shooting with a Swift Premier 6-18X44 in Warne high rings. And, the one pictured below with a Sightron 6X42 HBR II (Millette high rings) for CMP Sporter "T" Class:

I'm envious of the pricing you guys in the US get. To compare to a Savage, Walmart sells the BV for $250.

CZ 452's are good shooters and well made for the money.I have a CZ 452 Varmint in a .17 cal.HM2 for hunting Squirrels and I am impressed with it.
