you dont own the deer either, therefore your a poacher! obviously you can afford a computer, and internet service, so you dont need to poach in order to feed your family. if you were dirt broke poor, i would understand, but that sure doesnt seem to be the case here. poachers suck!

Don't you know assumption is the mother of all f#$k-ups. The computer does not belong to me, and I never said I was dirt poor but I know plenty of people who are. you dont own the deer either, No, but the land that I hunt on has been in my family for 4 generations that's good enough for me. And just so you know the local game wardens know us well and don't have a problem with us, they are after the real poachers, the guy's that shoot deer off of other peoples property cut the back strap out and leave the rest on the side of the road.

When is the FIGHT!

I don't know what the game laws are in OK,but in Tx if you are on land that you own and reside on you can hunt or fish for whatever you want, whenever you want and don't even need to have a hunting or fishing license to do it. So I would not assume he is a poacher.

I wasn't going to get into this, but after this post I have to ask... How does that make it any better to hunt deer with a .22 rimfire?

im not the one crying little boy! if you dont like being called out on your illegal activities, #1 dont write about it on the internet, and #2 dont do it in the first place. ive got a feeling , you wont be around here long. i probably would have let your poaching slide, but you had to insult another member first, so game on!

Hey,I'm not saying I agree with what he's doing, but I still would not call him a poacher. Maybe it is just the way I was raised (Don't talk bad about someone unless You know them, and then only when they are present to defend themselves)

Back to this thread,50-75 yrds is about max for a varmit, 100 yrds for targets

i dont care how he was raised, its poaching plain and simple. in no state in this country is it legal to hunt deer with a 22lr.

oklahoma game laws

Do I, and/or my family members have to purchase a hunting/fishing license if I'm hunting or fishing on my own land.
FISHING: Resident owners or tenants, their spouses, parents, grandparents, children and their spouses, grandchildren and their spouses who fish on land owned or leased by such owner or tenant do not have to have a fishing license.
HUNTING: Only resident landowners or tenants who reside on and hunt only on land owned or leased by them (not including hunting leases, and does not extend to relatives who reside off the property) are exempt from the hunting license for all legal game species.

Second is my Winchester Model 75T - shoots nearly as good, but using a 6X steel-tube Weaver scope.

Gotta love those heavy-barreled target rifles!
I'm with you big dog; mine's two years younger than me and still going strong.

I've never tried it at more than 25m but will next time I'm home.
