| The model 47 was made in the early 1930's for only one or two years. It was not a production model sold in stores. It was made during the early days of the depression and was offered as a giveaway incentive to buy Marlin stock. Basically a dressed up Model 20 reissue. Relatively low numbers produced, As I recall somewhere around 5K. Values don't seem to match rarity. Not exactly sure what the value is. I've some for sale for around $275. in Ex condition w/no bidders. I gave $125, for mine in Gd condition. |
