Savage model 29A pump .22

Hello all
I'm new to the forum but not new to hunting and guns. I'm looking for a new fireing pin for my 22. I'd like to find someone online and make my purchase that way.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the info. I got in touch with them today and ordered a new firing pin and figured that I already had the gun apart so I'd get a new spring to go with it. They have alot of stuff on that site

Well tomorrow I'm finally going to have a chance to try my new firing pin. I've been waiting all week to get out and shoot. I'm going out with a couple of boxes of ammo and hope to come home with little or none left.

Its shooting alot better now for sure. I forgot how dangerous a rifle it was. you have to pump the rifle slow because if you try to speed it up and rapid fire I've see a round flip up right and get jammed between the breech and the chamber. As a matter of fact a few years ago now I had a round go off like that. Luckly the bullet couldn't get out of the open chamber.

My Stevens Model 75 (Stevens version of Savage 29) will spit em out as fast as you can pump em w/o a hiccup.

Did this happen w/your rifle? If so IMO something isn't right.

Savage 29a

I have a complete breach bolt for the 29a. I needed one for a Premier Trailblazer pump 22.
