I've never even heard of a Marlin magazine that held more than 7-10 rounds. But hey, I'd be more than happy to be surprised

A little more specific? There are like 400 different models.

Numrich has the 70/70P which holds 15 rounds, which also fits models 989M2, 995, 25N & 880. Sells for $20.40
Marlin 70 / 70P Semi-Auto 15 Round .22 LR Magazine*|*e-GunParts.com=

Other than that one, I could find nothing any larger than 7-10 shots. If you know what model number rifle came with a 25 rd mag...I can search from that angle.

National Magazine Marlin 70 22 Long Rifle 15-Round Steel Blue
Status: Available

Currently 4 available at this price
Our Price:
$15.79

That's from Midway USA

Other than the E-guparts mag 2 posts above, that's all I could find with a fairly extensive search.

No sign of a 25-round Marlin Mag...But I'd sure love one in .22WMR...heheh

Marlin 25 cartridge magazine

The Marlin Firearms Company's 70HC Carbine came with a 25 cartridge magazine (407646) (I think some refer to it as a banana clip). A 7 shot clip (407346) was also available at the time. The 25 was available quite readily from most outdoor stores then but seemingly impossible to find now. I bought several when it appeared they were a dying breed but they are prone to wearing out as they are fairly plastickie. The 10 shot clip magazine (707135?) is still well stocked at my local Cabella (was S.I.R.),
will fit the 70 HC, and is probably more sturdy and less goofy looking. Not quite the fun of 25 shots though.

I'm kinda amazed that someone hasn't made a high-capacity magazine for the Marlin .22WMR/ .17HRM 's. They sell the 7-shot mags at Walmart...one would think that means enough popularity for at least a 15-30 round mag.

As far as I know, this is 10-rounder is as big as they come...HOWEVER...
MidwayUSA - Marlin Magazine Marlin 795, 795SS, 7000 22 Long Rifle 10-Round Steel Nickel Plated

But since I don't have a 795, I've really not looked that hard...maybe someone else has discovered something helpful??

The 795. I've seen a few and they aren't very expensive. Looks like a miniature banana clip. Seems to me it was a Butler Creek...not 100% sure though. Holds 25 rounds.

i've got a marlin one for my 989 and it works ok despite the occasional jam, I would also be in the market for a new one as it seems to me the one i've got may be getting a little brittle and being all plastic, well....
