Anybody have any information on this gun? I has no serial #'s . I was told when I bought it that it was a military training rifle. Thanks for any information.

If it was a military trainer then it would have a serial number. It is probably STOLEN and the sn has been removed.... The military does not(to my knowledge) use any marlin rifles, at all.

I see no evidence of the serial numbers been removed. I may have to dig into the gun a little deeper and see if I can find some numbers. Thanks for the info. Just more gun show B.S.

I had one awhile back, and it did not have a serial number.Prior to the Gun Control Act of 1968 serial numbers where not required on firearms(at least long guns)After GCA of 68 they were reguired on all firearms covered by the Act.So alot of utilitarian arms didn't have serial numbers. If it was military,it would have had a #.
