| Senior Member | Buckmark 22 Target Pistol Just brought home one of the target pistols made by Browning. The Buckmark 22lr, 5 1/5 B, Plus Nickel SE, Wood Laminate, Pro Target Model, TruGlow /Marble. Anyone have any luck with one of these target pistols? I think I just might be liken this one more than my Ruger Target pistols. |

| Senior Member | I have an early 90s model and it's a superb shooter. I've only had to replace the extraction claw and the ejector spring and connector which flew out one day. No big deal...total of $5 in parts and a breeze to put in.

| Moderator ![]() | I just now got back from the range. I took my 22/45 and my Buckmark today. I shot them both numerous times, alternating between them. I definitely like the handling, feel, and balance of the Buckmark better. The Ruger is not as comfortable in my hand but is a bit more accurate. Either way, both guns shoot better than I do. |

| Senior Member | I have the buckmark "camper" model. I really like it - much better than the ruger. Be sure you keep and eye on the hex bolts holding the top strap/rear sight on. They tend to shoot loose on mine after a while - no big deal though. Great guns! |

| Member | Browning Buckmark Am considering a Buckmark Hunter, 7-1/4 heavy barrel for target, possible with a Burris pistol scope? How hard is it to take apart to clean? After hearing some of the problems with a Ruger MK3, I think I want a Buckmark. Anybody have any comments? Any suggestions or advantages to the 5.5" or 7-1/4 barrell? (I will get the Bull barrell) Okay, I ordered the Hunter 7-1/4 bull barrel with cocobolo grips. It sure is a sweet shooter & surprisingly, has a nice soft trigger too. Rear sight was way off but after adjusting, it shoots awesome! Thanks to all of you that made positive comments! Last edited by 22plinker; 01-23-2007 at 07:59 PM. Reason: Wonder if one barrel has advantages over the other? |

| Senior Member | I put a Tactical Solutions 10 1/2 inch fluted barrel on my Buckmark, and turned a sweet shooter into an honest to god tackdriver. With the addition of a rail and a red dot holo sight, I just can't seem to miss. |

| Senior Member | Buckmark Camper here too. Stuck a Bushnell reddot on top. I ditched the origonal sight for the Tactical Solutions rail. If I had had more money though I would have bought the Buckmark Damascus or the Buckmark Hunter. Geez those are beautiful pistols. I'm very content withthe Camper though. It's a very underated pistol if you can say anything by Browning is underrated. Last edited by Zen900; 01-13-2007 at 07:19 PM. |

| Registered User | Dale, The exact same thing happened to me shooting my Buckmark. Something flew past my face, and extractor and ejector and spring were gone. Only found the claw. Good people at Browning replaced the pieces all I had to pay was postage.. Weird though. |
