got some pics of the new wood!!

i took some pics of the CETME with the new(surplus) german hk wood on it....i also took some more of my russian sks and the rock river m4

You'd be suprised how there is actually some decent wood under all that crud when you first get them. My Yugo SKS had some awsome wood after a few sanding sessions.

both the set that TAPCO sent me and the one that came with it are currently sitting in a box on top of my freezer

which set were you looking at?...the plastic set is the complete one and the wood from tapco i dont have all of the appropriate pieces to make it all fit together proper

I was after the plastic fore end. I'm still trying to get a folding stock for it.

i am hesitant to part with it until i know if the new wood is what i want...if i ever end up selling it i want to sweeten the deal with some different kinds of furnature etc
