Any of you guys use a Benelli SBE 2 or a Nova (3.5")?

My brother uses the SBEI. He really likes it. I have shot it. I tend to like my SX2 Gas auto better. Just personal preference. The Inertia designs have a lot to offer. If your not needing 3" capability, Stoeger and Franchi have the same design licensed by benelli for a lot less money.

The 3.5" is what we want. We are limited to 2 in the mag and one in the chamber 3 total.

We have the same 3 shot restriction. I don't know about the UK, but here in the states you don't want to get caught "floating" that 4th round. Albeit hard to prove, that's a big ticket.

The 2.5" shells are only used for pheasant and pigeon.

Yep plenty of 2.5" here! Can't you get those in the US?

We can't get 2.5", only 2.75". Nothing stopping us from getting 2.5", we just don't have them. We do have a "mini-shell" that's 1.75" or so, but that doesn't feed reliably in shotguns not specifically designed for it.

A lot of our 67.5 mm shells have been changed externally to 65 mm, why?
