Almost no difference between them. Slightly older guns will have all metal parts. Newer guns will have plastic guide rod, right side safety lever,etc. Italian made magazines have an extra hole cut out on the lower left side, the US made ones do not.

If you are gonna buy a Beretta, get the 92FS model. Older pistols are marked 92F and do not have an extra chunk of metal to catch a broken slide. (Rarely happens, but comforting to have)
The Beretta 92F pistols work very very well. They are hard to beat.
