The funny thing about the statement that most LEO's carry glocks is that most of the departments I have encountered in my years have used Sig's

Shaun,
That might be a regional thing, here in New England several PDs carry the Glock. The CT State Police carry a SIG-Sauer now in .40 S&W but they were previously armed with the Beretta 92. The NY State Police carry the Glock. Several small towns in CT allow their officers to carry what they want and I've seen several Glocks and several SIGs, too.

I keep seeing these type of cop stories about guns not killing the criminal. 27 is the current record that I myself have seen but I wouldn't be surprised if the record into the hundreds where the guy keeps walking. I think there is a tad bit of paranoia to these stories. Either that or somebody has been watching way to many sequels to Halloween.

Really are Blocks not Glocks

I had read so much about the GLock 17L that I decided I just had to have one. Local shop found one for me for $620. Thought I wanted it for my collection....until I picked up the 17 he brought out to show me. UGHHH! Who's hand was that thing made to fit???

Cancelled my order and decided to save up another month for a Springfield Armory 9mm stainless 1911 target model instead.

Cool LD: Get the Glock and never look back

:smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash:
I've carried my G23 for the last 6yrs and shot over 10,000 rnds through it, only had a couple of misfires that were traced to a worn lasermax battery cap, just removed the lasermax and reinstalled the original recoil spring and never had a problem again.
I trust this gun with my life and like my credit cards, never leave home without it.
I got a 13rnd hicap mag fo it and 2 G22 15rnd hicap mag for backup.
This gun is very easy to clean, work, replace, modify, ect.
I'm not a Glock armorer and I can disassemble the whole thing with a couple of simple tools.
I got more guns and have shot many more, but I'll stick with my glock until I find something better.

I "would" buy a Glock if the price was right. But only if it were the Glock 20.
I've shot the 10MM and it's a monster round.Glock 20 10MM is what the
local cops carry around are area. They are the only force I know that carries
the 10MM round.

The 1911 Is An Old Gun. Outdated No Longer In Use. Get Over It. The Xd- Is A Copy!!!!! Of The Glock.i Have Shot One. They Are Nice. But They Dont Have The Safe Action Glock Has. I Have Shot A Lot Of Pistols They Are Lots Of Fun. But How Many Jammed Over Time? Was Their One That Did Not Yes Glock. And Yes I Take My Guns Down And Clean Them After Every Use Oiling Them In Just The Right Parts. No Limp Wristing The Gun. Bottom Line Young Guys Want A New Gun So They Look For Something Better Thats Not Here Yet, Old Guys Say Why Change 1911s Works. Glocks Work Better That Why. Get A Glock.
