There are a few people I know who may enjoy a trip to Australia to hunt formerly domestic now feral cats, who are decimnating the native wildlife.

I`ve just come back from out west, I got one feral cat, spent about 25 minutes stalking around some tussocky grass with a 12 guage looking for another, I only did one nights spot lighting as I was as sick as 2 dogs with an infected throat and the cold night air didnt do it any favours. Cats are hard to get where I go, they are smart enough to avoid the open areas and stick to the tussocks of mid calf to knee high grass, if they hear you coming, they just freeze and flatten out, there could 100`s there and you`d never know.

I'd like to hunt Cape Buffalo in South Africa. Staring down a 1500 lb bull charging through the brush at you at 30 some MPH, and you only have two shots with a Kriehoff double chambered for .470 NE, that seems to me like it would be quite a sensation.

my ideal hunt would be up northwest somewhere (as long as there is mountain lions) with a pack of dogs and probably a .243 with open sights or a 3x9 scope. i think that tracking down and running the greatest predator in the northern hemisphere would be the mount everest of manhood, but thats just me.

my dream hunt would be with my son(who is blind and has seizures) in AK hunting moose, caibou, and a grizzly but thatll never happen with a 7mm nice scope and a .500 s&w on my side

i believe spires has the best point in the thread.... there is nothing better than to help (as much as i hate to share my hunting spot) a younger or (im sorrry for a lack of words) a handicapped kid hunt.... period. i have seen guys in wheelchairs with shotguns shoot as well as I, i have learned my place.

I would like to tell you why my husband should have a dream hunt. A little background here: I used to work a demanding full time job, ride our horses, and even hunt with my husband.
Seven years ago I was diagnosed with Lupus. I was crippled with joint pain, muscle pain, and told to rest. I was laid off at work, so I had the chance to rest. This meant that my husband, did all the feeding chores,(never once said that I had to sell the horses). He had to do extra chores, when I had a flare up. There are expenses that now take up his extra money that he could use for a special hunt.
Four years ago my mom moved in next door. We bought the house for her. There was another expense, and time doing chores over at her house as well. He always puts everyone else first. Now I think it is his time to be first. All thru my illness and my mother's terminal illness, he was there for us.
He watches the hunting shows and always says that one day he would like to hunt like that. He can hunt in our area if he pays a lease fee every year, but that would be nothing like his dream hunt, which is anywhere there are truely geat animals.
This may be a long winded story, but everything is true and needed explaining to give you an idea of why he deserves a dream hunt.

When i was in the Territory back in june i shot a cat at about 8 yards with my .375 H&H with 270gr Woodleigh pp. geez what a mess.
