Why must you torture me with the XD-45. It haunts my dreams. I was going to sell my mil-spec and get and decided against it. Since then I put the target match barrel on it with a the matcing bushing and I polished her up and I still wish I got the XD-45.

Now I am trying to determine what a good price for it would be. Any suggestions? (I need to stop hi-jacking threads as Pred would say)

I split the thread into a new one. Don't hijack my threads about a gun I love so much!

You are looking around $500 new. Slighly less for different grades.

I meant what the Mil-Spec is worth. I wanted to trade it in, but they wanted to give me $400 for it, and the XD-45 is $569 new at the gun strore.(Tactical stainless slide) I know that I am not going to take anything under $500 for the 1911 after I put the match barrel on it. I sure would like to have 14 rounds available to me if I need them.

Well why not sell it online?

I was under the impression you had an FFL or was in the process of getting one?

You do know we have a classified section here you can post on as well?

I still think keep the 1911 and save for the XD. Don't be so impatient that you get stupid with your beloved guns. The XD45 will be there, and used specimens may pop up.
