| The handguards are replacements. The gun stock is WWII original. It has a cartouche. Stock Doc here has a good track record of restoration and saving them. Hopefully, when done, the hand guards will match the stock a bit better albeit not guaranteed. It's actually more economical to restore than to buy a replacement.
