How often do you...

actually order guns with your C&R liscenes? I've had mine for about 5 months and have used it three times, to order rifles.

Do you use yours enough to make having it worth the $30.00 you paid for it?

In about a year, I have purchased four or five C&R pieces, as I desired and felt comfortable letting funds go to a "want" rather than a need or for savings. I had several items that were on a list I wanted and have gotten all of them so far. It has certainly been worth the $30 just in savings on the firearms as well as ammo purchases and supplies.

Huh??

Well, If I buy a gun through my dealer, I have to pay his cost, and state sales tax.
If I bought a gun on Gunbroker, I'd have to run it through my local dealer, costing $20-$25.
If I buy a gun with my C & R, I pay dealer cost, and don't have to pay to fill out a 4473.
If it wasn't paid off with the first gun, it was with the second..
So far I have 10 guns in my bound book that I've used my C & R for.. If nothing other than not having to have my dealer do the 4473, that's $250, and I KNOW he won't sell me a gun at his cost..

I had gun #4 delivered a few days ago so I guess I have gotten my $ value too.

I think my problem may be, that it's so easy to sit here with a cup'o coffee and buy guns via the web. Kinda like the old "fat kid in a candy store" syndrome.

I will no longer elaborate on the internet of my gun purchases, the sources, the amount of guns I have, etc.

dishwasher method works well just dont let it run thru dry cycle. or heat ,like in a black trashbag in the sun wrapped in paper towels, or take it to the carwash that works too...hope this helps

Go here and read about the garbage can oven. I drilled a hole in the bottom of the can-installed a 150 watt heat lamp, cut a square hole in the edge of the can lid to fit longer stocks, set the can upright, covered the bottom of the can with alcoa tin foil and cooked 10 rifle stocks to zero cosmo in one weekend

I also had a temperature gauge so that the temp inside stayed at 160 degrees. You dont want the stocks to get really hot-the 150 watt bulb gets the inside of the can over 195 if you let it run for more than 30 minutes. When the temp got over 170 I unplugged the light and let it get down to 155 then plugged it back in.

On longer stockes I cooked one end and the reversed the stock to get the whole thing done. Bring a bunch of rags and be careful cause the stock gets hot

This works like nothing I have ever seen-plus you can drink beer and watch it cook!!!!

stay safe
