Pretty, Billy, you just pick that up? I love the dark red wood grip.

These things sure look cool. And a good price. My dealer is going to order me one, hopefully someone will have them in stock soon.

The one I want looks like this. http://www.springfield-armory.com/im...9108LLarge.jpg

I like the color of the gun and the sights. I can always replace the grips later. My dealer is charging 590 out the door. Which is not bad for CA.

i have a feeling you are going to like that gun ,mine took a few hundred rounds before it started working like a sewing machine, and now it is absolutely reliable! it hasnt jammed in i dont know how many 1000s of rounds(i shoot a lot) the extractor needed a bit of adjustment early on but that was it. p.s. i only use hardball ammo so i dont know about reliability with wadcutters ect.

I have the Mil-Spec and it is the best gun I ever bought. THat thing is the best value in the 1911 world without a doubt and the best platform to go wild and create a monster

Yeah, I figured it's a good deal with 2 mags, two grips, a couple of cleaning things, the holster things (which I doubt I will use) and the case.
