During the last take down cleaning, with I took the GI front sight down flat, drilled and secured a Tru-glo front sight on my champ and it is awesome! Got some great bullseye to 2" groups at the range with 100 rds WWB @ 7,15,and 25 yds. It is hot green and pops out for quick target acquisition. I just put the dot on top between the silver dots and pop. Total cost 9.00
