| Think twice about sticking a muzzle brake on there. Recoil isn't very bad from a .308 to begin with, and neither is the muzzle blast, but when you stick a brake on there, you'll have everyone around you cussing. It really factors in if you're shooting from under a metal awning or some such, the brakes increase the volume so much and you can feel the shockwave bouncing off the ceiling.
Definitely no need to fuss with the barrel with the shot groups you're getting.
