I wouldnt buy a gun that i havent been able to handle first and make sure it is in great condition. About lead bullets, your not even supposed to get fire them through a Glock. The handloads you sady you got 2-6 inches from, were they led ttipped? If so that would be why.

Well I rented a Glock 19 and a Sig 229(both in 9mm of course) and I really liked the feel of the 19. I was originally set on a model 17, but it was out of action at my range, so I got a 19 instead. Me and my dad really like the feel of the 19. My question is, where is a good place to get Glock magazines(G17 and G19 mags will work, preferably 19)?

All of the gen 3's have the rail. The gen 2's don't , and the gen 1's have no rail and no finger grooves. I personally prefer the gen 3's because I happen to prefer the finger grooves, and you can never go wrong with the rail.

If you want the ultimate Glock, check out the G-20. The 10mm is a great round; possibly the most versatile out there. You get up to mid-range .41 mag power (with full-power 10mm loads like Double Tap) and down to soft .40 -like loads.

For under $100 you get a conversion barrel to plink .40 all day long!

Here's a shot of mine with the 6" Jarvis barrel. Launches 230 grain hardcasts at around 1225 - 1250 fps! Will do 135 grain at around 1700 fps out of the long barrel.

10 seconds later the .40 barrel is in and I can shoot CHEAP at the range! Best of both worlds IMO.

Anyone have any idea why I can't seem to post anything with pictures? I posted stuff with pics last night here in the Glock forum and in the Ruger forum as well. They are not appearing. . . . . is this a censor the newbie thing or something?!
