How do you like the forend? I'm thinking about some type of M-1A in the future, and I was just getting used to the original SOCOM, then they come out with this thing! My wife is into AR's big time, and she loves the look of the thing, but I'm a little more conservative in my tastes. Is there any other type of forend grip avaliable besides the vertical "motorcycle style" kind you see on just about every AR? Also, what about mounting optics? Do you have to use a extended eye relief "scout" type? Thanks in advance. Bill T. |
