| What a sorry hunting dog http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a36...e/daisydog.jpg She makes a pathetic hunting dog, but she sure is adorable. The lousy hunting dog's web site. Last edited by troylaplante; 03-10-2007 at 09:26 PM. Reason: Trying to get pic to show up in post. Not working, though. |

| Me and a girlfriend were sitting on a train trestle over a river and a beagle walked out to us stepping on the ties the whole long way out. I couldn't believe he made it to us. He sat with us for a while. When we walked off the bridge back to my motorcycle my girlfriend freezes and says there's a bunch of black guys over in those bushes with guns! I laughed. (They were rabbit hunting in the abandoned switching yard). I went over to the oldest black guy and told him how his beagle was an acrobat. He looked at the beagle and said "he aint good for nothing anymore" but his wife makes him take the dog hunting because it whines the whole time if he leaves it home and takes the other beagles. |

| Senior Member | very fuzzy pup you got there... my sister has a beagle that now is at my parents' farm since she has moved back home. his name is oscar. my mom has goats. oscar has decided that he is a mama goat. my mom had a couple kids (those are baby goats, in case you didn't know) that the mama's abandonded for whatever reason...oscar took to cleaning them up and mothering them. mom would bottle feed them, but oscar did everything else. went nutz one day when i took one of them home to give mom a break with the feeding. he has also decided to be a goat herd-dog. mom's goats have gotten out a few times lately, and he keeps them all together and puts them back in the pen for her when she opens the gate...he was supposed to be a hunting dog, but is a much happier farm dog...lol
