The FEG PA 63

IMO, the FEG PA 63 is probably the best CCW for the money. If anyone has any info on lowcost mods for this weapon, please post. For a low cost weapon, this thing is on. I have had the expensive weps, sig, browning, glock, etc. and I was truly impressed with my 63. I stripped and got it squeaky clean, then took it to the range for a test run. Flawless with very little recoil. I wish the sites could be altered a little but besides that, no probs at all. What a wonderul little wep!

I changed the springs on mine. Put Wolff 11 pound hammer and recoil springs in and a new Wolff firing pin spring. The trigger work is like now now. Enjoy!

I just finished my today as well. I have the 13# Recoil Spring, 11# Hammer Spring and the Replacement Firing Pin Spring. I expect that it will shoot like a dream now. I am goign to have to decide if I want to carry this piece or use my Ruger P89 now. The advantage is that the Pa-63 is quite a bit smaller but I am not sure which would be more reliable. I have had ammo troubles with mine. Oh on a side note if you wish to replace your firing spring let me know cause I am going to post step by step instuctions on how to disassemble the slide.

I found that ball ammo fed better in mine. The Hornaday hollow points would occationally jam. Although I like the Hungarian FEG PA63 alot I wouldn't put it in the same class as a genuine Makarov
