Smile Welcome me to the poor house!!!!

My C&R license just arrived! I mailed off the app. on March 20, and got the license and kit May 4. Not a bad turn around time. The wife is so scared that I’m going to go hog wild with the credit card (currently no balance) and put us in the poor house. However, it looks like it might be a little while before I order something because I’ve got to figure out just what I want first. So many guns, so little money!! Wish me luck.

Much C&R guns and ammo are at a premium now-a-days,make your C&R work for you buy and sell.I see people pay big money for guns that are no more then wall hangers.

Since I have an 03 FFL and not an 01 FFL, I won’t be buying and selling for profit. Not legal, you know. Thanks for the link Joe. I had several on a list I started to compile myself. The others are a bonus.

That, however, does NOT preclude you from adding to your collection, then selling a piece from your collection. You ARE allowed to sell anything you own, just not as a business. There is a difference between building a collection for an investment and running a business. The BATFE does recognize that concept. Just because you have an 03 FFL does not mean you can't sell off some of your collection. That is how I have added to my own collection, by picking up what other crufflers have been selling off. Your guns are your personal property and you are allowed to dispose of them besides just obtaining them. It is understood, especially, that a collector would get rid of an older, less desirable piece to obtain a better, more valuable item.

Yes I buy and sell with my C&R ,I just log-in the buyers ID and drivers licence numbers and sell it as my personal firearm.

Now that you have your C&R you should know that a Mosin-Nagant 91/30 works great as a support beam for the cardboard box you'll end up in. I remember getting mine and saying I'll just get a K-31, then it was a pair of SKS's, an M-44, a 91/30 and many others later I can honestly say I love this hobby. I have my eye on a really nice refrigerator box.

This is like a C&R Anonymous, now we just need a 12 step program and a lot of coffee and donuts (preferably Kristy Kreme).

Welcome! Since I received my 03 FFL, I have only bought 3 rifles with it, but am planning a short trip to visit a gun dealer later this week. I may even get a peek inside the warehouse.

But I know of several large appliance stores where big boxes can be had, if my future dictates it.
