| READ CAREFULLY !!!
Actually , you can have your friend buy the gun in his name, and he keeps the gun at his home ,in his possession...Legally, it is his gun. So as long as he doesn't screw you in the deal this will be legal. You can accompany him and shoot the gun, He cannot "Loan You" the gun,he must retain possesion until you are of age. Then, he can sell you the gun for 10 dollars (Alaska Rules) and it becomes your gun to own.
If you give him the money, less 10 dollars to purchase, then he has legal ownership claim and right of ownership, until you pay the balance when you become of age.
Again ,He LEGALLY owns the gun, NOT YOU.
It is a matter of trust....
THIS IS THE ONLY LEGAL WAY Neither of you can be charged with a STRAW purchase and meet Alaska Law requirements in a property exchange.
