The ugly ducking himself?

A domestic with this hen mallard?
Photo would suggest white but it's more of a whitish yellow with brown/black eyes.

There are fair number of "wild" domestics here in Idaho but they are limited to urban areas. I haven't seen many out in the wild...they probably get picked off quickly
