Finding a new Mak barrel

Makarov.com sells barrels for the 9x18 Mak. I'm looking for a E German barrel but they are out but it seemed to me that even when they had them in stock they had threaded barrels which I don't want. I want just a regular barrel. I already have the barrel press and Im waiting on a new batch to come out but Im wondering if the new batch will be the stock threadless barrels. You can wait the rest of your life for an EG barrel. They do not make them any more. Makarov.com had some from surplus parts they picked up last year. The main source for Makarov parts is Arsenal, who has been making Makarovs for about the last 30 years.

If you look here, you will see milsurp Bulgarian barrels.

Be sure to get a barrel pin and the associated drill bit: "Extra Hard Drill Bit for Makarov Barrels - Required for Bulgarian barrels and others that are not pre-drilled."

I have a 9mm Makarov PA-63. Does anyone know of place that sells a barrel for that model. I have looked all over and cannot find one.

I dont know about your particular model, but it's not easy to change a Makarov barrel.

Look at the makarov section in gunboards.com. They have their owm trader site. Or try makarov.com.

Right now, Numrich Gun parts has PA-63 barrels in 2 calibers 9X18 for 39.95 and .380 acp for 77.90.
They are Mfg. by Federal Arms Co.
