C & R finally came.....

Well it got here, almost 7weeks to the day. I have my signed copies and my intro letters ready to mail. A bigger mail box is ready to go on the post and I've ordered numerous doses of will power booster in an attempt to keep a balance in my bank account. Thanks to all who posted info on C&R’s it helped greatly. I already have 5 Mosins and a couple of SKS's and CZ’s, so thanks to billy and his new Enfield, I guess an Enfield will be on my list to pine after. I see that AIM had some, but since billy has set such a high standard on Enfields (and mouse guns), I fear I will be disappointed. (most likely won’t stop me from getting one or two or...though)....................

thanks for the complement. 2 years ago i got my C&R and now have 14 milsurps. i don't have a swiss k-31 i think thats what they are called. you will find that many companies will put you on a dealers list. it will get you price breaks on ammo, accessories etc. not just guns. i made my $30 back the first time i bought ammo! i go through a lot of ammo....

P.S. that enfield was a freak chance. i havent even seen any like it online. ive seen that model but nothing like that condition. my savage enfield however is a great shooting looker in its own right. not bad for $130
im glad you decided to cut to the chase and just mail out a boatload of copies. you will be poorer but your collection will be impressive. eh its only money right?

P.S. the UPS guy is gonna hate ya!

Sorry, the money always clears quick. You can't take that as a sign, but good luck. Just remember the wheels of the bureaucracy turn slow when they are turning at all.. Seriously, Hope yours is quicker. Take care and good luck.
PS... .22 Guy is right about the credit cards!!!!!!

Those C&R's get adictive! It is way to easy to have the big brown truck pull up to your door and drop off a new toy! My wife finally snapped me out of my C&R trance! And I do mean SNAPPED!

Ouch.....that can be dangerous. I got the "how many do you *need*" speech a couple months back. I told her I'd quit when I caught up to her shoe collection. Luckily for me she didn't fire back with the price difference on shoes vs. rifles, so I'm still one up for the time being.

We recently moved, and my wife gave like three garbage bags full of shoes to the local charity! That is just the ones she didn't want anymore! I guess everyone has their vises, but they sure seem more eager to point ours out!!

One of the minor blessings resulting from California jacking the tax on cigarettes to ridiculous heights is that it finally stopped my wife from lecturing me on how much I spend on beer. She spends more on smoking than I do on drinking (and doesn't enjoy is nearly as much).

I think I remember another thread that had a lot of good info on this subject. You may want to dig around some. But in the meantime send it the these people at least: midwayusa.com and Grafs.com (nice discounts); Century Arms, Classic Arms, SAMCO, SARCO, J&G Sales, CDNN and Brownells. Plus the two you said Aim Surplus and SOG.
