| Is there a certain age you have to be before you can buy flintlock pistols /percussion pistols/revolvers? I know for modern handguns you have to be 21,but what about flintlock/percusion pistols and revolver replica's? As I posted in another thread,a friend of mine bought a 1858 remington replica from cabelas about 3 years ago and at the time he was 19,how was he able to buy one when you have to be 21 for handguns? Also I live in california, probably one of the most law crazy states in the U.S. Please help me out if you can. |

| I did reply to your first post. A muzzle loader is not classified as a firearm, so I am guessing the same goes for the pistol type. That would mean that ANYONE can buy one, regardless of age. |
