Hi, I'm new here and was looking for so help. I have a Dakota SAA 45 LONG COLT pistol and was wondering if any of the Colt SAA parts would fit it and if so which gen. 1st , 2nd or 3rd . Pistol has a brass trigger guard and backstrap, left side of barrel is marked " DAKOTA CAL.45 COLT" . Top of barrel is marked " inter continental arms inc. " these is no transfer bar. Right side of frame says " made in italy". Any help would be very nice. Thanks in advance for your replys. BOOTH

Almost certainly NOT - but no real way to know without trying. A good gunsmith may have some Colt parts in stock to test it. Even if it's close, he might be able to fit the Colt parts to it. SIngle-actions are made by many different companies, each a bit different. Even the same company alters their guns over time - I have two Pietta 1851 Navies, made a couple decades apart, that are totally different in manufacture, with no parts interchangeable!

What parts do you need? Numrich may have them. A real gunsmith can make any part for a SAA, but try to find a real gunsmith.................................

highly unlikely that parts from one will work in the other.
